Brinzolamide

Indications	brinzolamide ophthalmic suspension 1% is indicated in the treatment of elevated intraocular pressure in patients with ocular hypertension or open-angle glaucoma.
Adult Doses	The recommended dose is one drop of brinzolamide ophthalmic suspension 1% in the affected eye(s) three times daily. If more than one topical ophthalmic drug is being used, the drugs should be administered at least ten (5) minutes apart.
Contraindications	brinzolamide ophthalmic suspension) 1% is contraindicated in patients who are hypersensitive to any component of this product
Warnings / Precautions	Pregnanacy There are no adequate and well-controlled studies in pregnant women. brinzolamide ophthalmic suspension 1% should be used during pregnancy only if the potential benefit justifies the potential risk to the fetus. Nursing Mothers It is not known whether this drug is excreted in human milk. Because many drugs are excreted in human milk and because of the potential for serious adverse reactions in nursing infants from brinzolamide ophthalmic suspension 1%, a decision should be made whether to discontinue nursing or to discontinue the drug, taking into account the importance of the drug to the mother.
